The Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream declares its collagen. Most brands do not, and Medicube did not have to. The Korean legal filing gives three separate collagen entries with a number against each, and those numbers are the whole story of this jar.

Collagen: 10 ppm. Hydrolyzed collagen: 9.81 ppm. Soluble collagen: 0.001 ppm. Add them up and you get 19.811 parts per million, which is 0.00198 percent. In the 110ml jar that works out to roughly 2 milligrams of collagen in total.

Two milligrams. Not per use. In the whole jar. That is the honest starting point for anything else we say about the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream, and you deserve it in the first paragraph rather than buried under a benefits list.

What the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream actually leads with

Niacinamide sits at position 9 of 48. It is not in the Korean product name at all, and it is the highest-placed active in the jar by a wide margin.

Medicube’s US listing quietly acknowledges this: over there the same product is sold as the Collagen Niacinamide Jelly Cream. The Korean box says collagen. The American box says collagen and niacinamide. The formula has always been mostly the second one.

Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream 110ml jar — Three collagen entries, all declared, totalling about 2mg in the 110ml jar.

Why the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream is not a scam

Because the numbers are published. Medicube filed 10 ppm, 9.81 ppm and 0.001 ppm in a public regulatory document that anybody can read, and the vast majority of brands would simply have written “collagen complex” and left it there.

There is also a real physical limit at work. Collagen is a very large molecule and topical collagen does not cross into the dermis to become your own collagen. No cream does that. What topical collagen actually does is sit on the surface as a humectant and film-former, holding water. At 10 ppm it is not doing even that to any meaningful degree, but the ceiling on what it could do was low to begin with.

So the fair verdict on the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream is not that it is fraudulent. It is that it is a decent niacinamide gel moisturiser wearing a collagen name, and the price you pay should reflect the first description, not the second.

The Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream contains fragrance

In the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream, fragrance is declared at position 23. That is unusual across the Medicube range we have read, where most products carry no perfume entry at all.

It is not a fault by itself. Plenty of people want their moisturiser to smell like something. But if you came to Medicube because the PDRN serums and the capsule creams are fragrance-free, this jar breaks that pattern and you should know before you open it.

Three Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream allergens the jar does not mention

Brazil Nut Seed Extract at 39. Nut-derived.
Salmon Egg Extract at 43, plus Sodium DNA at 48. Fish-derived, so this is neither vegan nor vegetarian.
Fragrance at 23, as above.

There is also garlic extract at 37, which is not an allergen concern for most people but is genuinely unusual in a face cream and worth knowing is in there.

The Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream is not a functional cosmetic

Korea certifies products that carry an approved active at an approved level as 기능성화장품, functional cosmetics. Almost everything else in the Medicube range we have read carries that certification. The Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream filing says 무 — no.

That does not mean it does nothing. It means Medicube is not making a legally reviewed wrinkle or brightening claim on this jar. Adenosine is present at 22, but not at a level that earned the certification here.

Treat the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream as what its filing says it is: a moisturiser. Not a treatment.

Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream jelly texture — A bouncy water-gel, not a rich cream. This is the texture people actually buy it for.

What the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream is genuinely good at

The texture. The Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream is a bouncy, water-light gel that disappears into skin and leaves no film, and in Dhaka’s humid months that matters more than most ingredient lists do. A cream you will not wear in June is worth nothing in June.

Niacinamide at 9 is a real placement. Squalane at 35 is a good emollient. The humectant base — propanediol, dipropylene glycol, butylene glycol, trehalose, glycerin — is well built and does the water-holding work the collagen is credited with.

There is also a coherent antioxidant tail: tocopherol at 30, green tea seed at 41, blueberry at 46, tomato at 44, broccoli at 40. None of them are at heroic levels, but they are a sensible group rather than random botanicals.

Who makes the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream

The filing names COSMAX as the manufacturer and APR Corp as the responsible seller. COSMAX is the largest cosmetics ODM in the world and makes product for a very long list of brands you would recognise.

This is the third different manufacturer we have found across the Medicube range. The Milky Toner comes from Nordinary, the TXA serum from B&B Korea, and this jar from COSMAX. Same brand, three factories, which is exactly why we read the filing for each product rather than assuming they are related.

How to use the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream

Last step of your routine, after serum.
Avoid the immediate eye and lip area — Medicube’s own instruction.
Smooth over the face following your skin texture.
At night, apply a second layer over the first.
Morning and evening.

The double-layer instruction at night is Medicube’s own and it is a good one. A water-gel this light can be applied twice without feeling heavy, which is not true of a richer cream.

Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream: 110ml or 50ml?

Same formula in both jars — we checked the Korean filing against Medicube’s own US listing to confirm it. The only difference is how much you get.

50ml — the sensible first purchase if you have not used a water-gel before.
110ml — better value per millilitre if you know you like it, and it is the one most people repurchase.

Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream swatch on skin — It sinks in without a film, which is the real reason to buy it.

Who the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream suits

Buy it if you want a light, non-greasy gel moisturiser for humid weather, you like a scented product, and you have no nut or fish sensitivity. On texture alone it is one of the more pleasant moisturisers in the range.

Skip it if you are buying it for the collagen, because that is 2mg in the jar. Skip it if you avoid fragrance, nuts or fish-derived ingredients. Skip it if your skin is genuinely dry in winter, because a water-gel will not be enough on its own.

If firmness is your actual goal, spend the money on a retinoid or a well-dosed peptide serum instead. No topical collagen at any concentration is going to do that job, and this jar does not contain enough to test the theory.

The Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream against the rest of the range

TXA Niacinamide 15% Serum — niacinamide declared at 10%, tranexamic acid at 5%. The strongest formula Medicube makes.
PDRN Pink Collagen Capsule Cream — the other collagen-named product. Collagen 49th of 59 there, niacinamide 3rd.
Kojic Acid Turmeric Niacinamide Serum — niacinamide 2nd, turmeric 6th, kojic acid 9th of 32.
PDRN Pink Niacinamide Whip Cleanser — niacinamide at 2%, PDRN at 50 ppm.
Zero Pore Blackhead Mud Mask — kaolin 2nd, bentonite 3rd. Exactly right.

Across both collagen-named Medicube products the pattern is identical: the collagen is a trace ingredient and niacinamide is the one doing the work. In the capsule cream it was position 49. Here it is 10 ppm. Different products, same story.

Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream FAQ

How much collagen is actually in it?

About 2mg in the 110ml jar and 1mg in the 50ml, from three declared entries totalling 19.811 ppm. Those are Medicube’s own published figures.

Will it firm my skin?

Topical collagen does not become collagen in your skin at any concentration, and this jar does not contain enough to hold water at the surface either. Buy it for the texture and the niacinamide.

Is the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream fragrance free?

No. Fragrance is declared at position 23.

Is it vegan?

No. Salmon egg extract sits at 43 and sodium DNA at 48.

Can I use it with a retinol or an acid?

Yes. There is no acid and no retinoid in the formula, so it layers cleanly as a final step.

Does the 50ml differ from the 110ml?

No. Same formula, different jar. We checked the Korean filing against Medicube’s US listing to confirm it.

Why we publish the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream numbers

Korean law makes brands file the full ingredient list, and sometimes the actual concentrations. Most shops never look them up. We read the filing before writing anything and publish what it says, including when it costs us the sale.

On the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream it says 10 ppm. That is a real number from a real document, and you can look it up yourself. If we ever get one wrong, tell us and we will correct it in public.

What “Active Collagen Complex” means on the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream

Medicube trademarks the phrase Active Collagen Complex and prints it on the jar. It refers to the three collagen entries taken together, plus the hydrolyzed elastin at 42 and the soluble proteoglycan at 36.

Elastin and proteoglycan are the other two structural proteins in skin, so grouping them with collagen is a tidy story. It is also a story about what those molecules do inside your dermis, not about what a cream does on top of it. None of the three cross the barrier.

A trademarked complex name is not evidence of a dose. It is a way of turning several trace ingredients into one impressive-sounding thing, and the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream filing shows exactly how much is behind it.

The Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream against a plain niacinamide gel

Here is the comparison that actually matters. Strip out the collagen story and you are looking at a well-made water-gel with niacinamide at position 9, squalane at 35, a good humectant base and a sensible antioxidant tail.

That is a genuinely decent moisturiser and worth owning. The question is whether the collagen name is adding anything to the price, and on 19.811 ppm the answer is no. Buy the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream because you want that texture with niacinamide in it, and you will be happy. Buy it expecting the collagen to do something and you will not.

If firmness is the goal, the money is better spent on a retinoid, or on the TXA serum in this range where two actives are declared at percentage strength rather than parts per million.

Using the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream through a Dhaka summer

This is the season the product is genuinely built for. In high humidity a rich cream sits on the surface, mixes with sweat and feels like a film all day. A water-gel does not.

Through the monsoon and the hot months, one thin layer in the morning under sunscreen is usually enough, and the double layer at night that Medicube recommends is comfortable rather than heavy. In the cooler dry season you will probably want something with more occlusive weight over the top, because a gel this light will not hold water on its own when the air is dry.

That seasonal split is worth planning around. Plenty of people buy one moisturiser and then blame it when the weather changes underneath them.

Storing the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream and spotting a fake

Keep the jar out of direct sun and out of a hot bathroom. Tocopherol and the botanical extracts degrade with light and heat, and the packaging is not opaque.

Medicube is one of the most counterfeited brands in this market because it is popular and the jars are simple to copy. Two checks worth doing on any jar from anywhere: the printed ingredient list should match the forty-eight above in that order, and the Korean text on a genuine carton is crisp rather than doubled. A Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream priced far below the market should make you ask where it came from. We import directly and check packaging, labelling and condition before dispatch.

What we would change about the Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream

Two things.

The first is the name. Niacinamide is at 9 and collagen is at 26, 27 and 34 in parts per million. Medicube’s own US market already sells this as the Collagen Niacinamide Jelly Cream, which is closer to the truth. The Korean name should say the same thing.

The second is the fragrance. This jar sits in a range that is otherwise almost entirely fragrance-free, and adding perfume to the one product most likely to be used twice daily on the whole face is an odd choice for a brand whose customers largely came for gentle formulas.

Neither stops it being a good moisturiser. The Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream is a pleasant, well-built water-gel with a real dose of niacinamide, sold under a name that describes the smallest thing in the jar.
