The MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream is a two-phase 55g moisturiser: a clear gel and a chamber of blue capsules, mixed on the back of your hand to whatever ratio suits your skin that day. It is the hydration-focused sibling of MEDICUBE’s TXA capsule cream.

Hyaluronic Acid: What the Name Is Actually Selling
What MEDICUBE Claims, and What We Can Check
What to Expect, and When

The ingredient order tells a different story to the name on the jar. Niacinamide is the second ingredient of forty-three — an exceptionally high position, ahead of every humectant and emulsifier. Sodium hyaluronate sits 36th. This is a niacinamide cream that happens to contain hyaluronic acid, not the other way round.

What the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream Is

The MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream is a daily moisturiser for combination, dry and oily skin. MEDICUBE positions it around hydration, barrier support and a soothing effect, with a claim of “120 hours long-lasting hydration”.

The capsule format works the same way as the rest of the line: gel for a lighter finish, capsule for more richness, and you set the balance. In a country with a monsoon and a winter that is the most practical feature of the whole product.

Low molecular hyaluronic acid, ceramides, panthenol and allantoin

Full Official Ingredient List

The MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream contains forty-three ingredients, exactly as MEDICUBE publishes them, in order:

Water, Niacinamide, Butylene Glycol, Methylpropanediol, Glycerin, Propanediol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycereth-26, Arginine, Carbomer, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Simethicone, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract.

Continuing from the 22nd position: Polyacrylate-13, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Disodium EDTA, Coccinia Indica Fruit Extract, Polyisobutene, Hydrolyzed Sclerotium Gum, Glyceryl Stearate, Allantoin, Betaine, Aloe Barbadensis Flower Extract, Solanum Melongena (Eggplant) Fruit Extract, Polysorbate 20, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Sorbitan Isostearate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ocimum Sanctum Leaf Extract, Corallina Officinalis Extract, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Squalane, Octyldodecanol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Ceramide NP, Caprylyl Glycol.

Reading That List Honestly

Niacinamide at 2 is remarkable

In the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream, niacinamide sits second of forty-three, immediately behind water. We have read the official ingredient list of every product in this brand’s range that we stock, and this is the highest niacinamide placement of any of them — higher even than the TXA cream, which is explicitly sold on its 5% niacinamide.

MEDICUBE does not declare a percentage here, so we will not quote one. But position two, ahead of butylene glycol and glycerin, is not a token inclusion. If you want niacinamide in a moisturiser step, the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream delivers it.

The hyaluronic acid it is named after sits 36th

Sodium hyaluronate at position 36 of 43, below the preservatives, below the plant extracts. This is the third MEDICUBE product where the headline ingredient sits low and the supporting active does the work — the same pattern as the TXA cream and the PDRN cleanser.

MEDICUBE’s own marketing describes “ultra low molecular hyaluronic acid”, which is a size claim rather than a quantity claim. Smaller molecules do sit differently in the skin; they do not change how much is in the jar.

None of this makes the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream a poor hydrator. Water, butylene glycol, methylpropanediol, glycerin and propanediol occupy positions one to six, and that is a serious humectant stack. The hydration is real — it is just not coming from the hyaluronic acid.

Genuinely fragrance-free, and that is worth noting

Read the full MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream list above and there is no fragrance, no parfum and no essential oil anywhere in it. That matters because the TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream from the same line contains lemongrass and anise oils.

If you have reactive skin and you have been choosing between the two capsule creams, this is the safer jar. That is a real difference and MEDICUBE does not make it obvious.

The soothing trio is properly placed

The MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream places panthenol at 14, allantoin at 29 and betaine at 30. All three are well-evidenced calming and moisture-binding ingredients, and panthenol in particular is high enough to matter.

Ceramide NP at 42, squalane at 39

Both at the very bottom of the list. The MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream is not a barrier-repair cream despite the marketing mentioning ceramides — for that, a dedicated ceramide product does far more.

Non-comedogenic, low irritating, no artificial fragrance or colorant

How to Use It

MEDICUBE’s official direction: mix the hyaluronic capsule and the transparent gel in a suitable ratio based on your skin type, then apply the mixture morning and evening to face and neck, after serum.

Their ratio guidance:

Skin type	Gel	Capsule
Oily	2 scoops	1 capsule scoop
Dry	1 scoop	1 capsule scoop

Mix on the back of your hand until the blue disappears completely and the texture is uniform.
After serum, before sunscreen. It is the moisturiser step.
Face and neck. MEDICUBE includes the neck explicitly.
Morning and evening. Gentle enough for twice daily.
Use the spatula. An open jar in Dhaka humidity is a contamination risk.

Why Niacinamide at Position Two Is the Real Headline

If you take one thing from this page, take this. The MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream is the highest-niacinamide moisturiser we stock, and almost nobody buying it knows that, because the jar says hyaluronic acid.

Niacinamide is vitamin B3, and it is one of the small number of cosmetic ingredients with a serious evidence base behind it. It supports the skin’s barrier by increasing ceramide production, it reduces transepidermal water loss, it calms inflammation, and over months it helps even out tone. Most of the published work sits at concentrations between 2% and 5%.

Second position of forty-three, ahead of butylene glycol and glycerin, is consistent with a concentration in that useful range — though MEDICUBE has not declared a figure and we will not invent one.

The practical consequence: if you already use a separate niacinamide serum, the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream may be redundant. And if you have been looking for niacinamide in a moisturiser rather than an extra step, this is a better answer than most products marketed as niacinamide creams.

MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream 55g daily moisturiser

Where It Fits in a Routine

Morning

Cleanse, toner, any treatment serum, then the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream, then sunscreen. Run it gel-heavy so it sits comfortably under SPF in the heat.

Evening

Cleanse, treatment or retinol on its nights, then the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream as the sealing step. The niacinamide and panthenol make it a good recovery layer over an active.

What not to stack

You do not need a niacinamide serum underneath this. That is not because the combination is dangerous — the old vitamin C and niacinamide warning has been thoroughly debunked — but because you would be paying twice for the same ingredient.

Value and How Long It Lasts

Fifty-five grams used twice daily on face and neck runs roughly two to three months. Against Korean barrier and hydration creams sold in Bangladesh, the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream sits mid-range on price.

What makes it good value is the combination that is genuinely hard to find: high-position niacinamide, a full humectant stack, panthenol and allantoin for calm, and no fragrance of any kind. Plenty of creams have two of those four.

Where the value case weakens: if your skin is comfortable and uncomplicated, any decent moisturiser will serve. The MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream earns its price on reactive, dehydrated or barrier-compromised skin, not on skin that is already fine.

Storage and Shelf Life

Room temperature, capped, out of direct sun. The capsules are the heat-sensitive part — they are designed to stay intact until you crush them, and warmth defeats that.

Once opened, follow the period-after-opening symbol on the carton. At twice-daily use the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream is finished well inside that window, so it is rarely the limiting factor. If the gel separates or the capsules have collapsed on their own, it has been stored somewhere too warm.

Who It Is For

Sensitive or reactive skin. The strongest case for the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream — a high-niacinamide moisturiser with no fragrance and no essential oils is a rare combination.
Dehydrated skin in air conditioning. Five humectants in the first six positions.
Oily skin that still feels tight. Run it gel-heavy and it is light enough for a Dhaka summer.
Anyone wanting niacinamide without a separate serum. At position two, this delivers it in the moisturiser step.
People who reacted to the TXA capsule cream. Same format, same brand, none of the essential oils.

Who should look elsewhere: anyone with a known niacinamide sensitivity, since it is the second ingredient here and there is no avoiding it. And anyone buying specifically for hyaluronic acid content — position 36 does not support that.

Hyaluronic Acid: What the Name Is Actually Selling

Worth setting out plainly, because “hyaluronic acid” has become the most oversold phrase in skincare and this product carries it on the front.

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant — it binds water. So are glycerin, butylene glycol, propanediol, methylpropanediol and betaine, all of which sit far higher in the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream than the hyaluronic acid does. Glycerin in particular is cheaper, better studied and arguably more effective at the same concentration.

What hyaluronic acid genuinely offers is a range of molecular weights that sit at different depths, and a pleasant slip that formulators like. What it does not offer is a unique hydrating power that ordinary humectants lack.

There is also a real caveat for this climate that cuts the other way. In very dry air, humectants can pull water out of the skin rather than into it — which is why hyaluronic serums disappoint people in winter without an occlusive on top. Dhaka’s humidity means that failure mode barely applies here, and the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream performs better in this market than it would in a dry one.

What MEDICUBE Claims, and What We Can Check

Claim	Our note
Niacinamide high in the formula	Verifiable from the ingredient order — second of forty-three. The strongest thing about this product.
Ultra low molecular hyaluronic acid	A molecule-size claim, not a quantity claim. Sodium hyaluronate sits 36th.
120 hours long-lasting hydration	Manufacturer instrument testing. No methodology published.
Non-comedogenic, low irritating	Manufacturer testing. The fragrance-free formula supports it.
No artificial fragrance or colorant	Accurate — and unusually, there are no natural fragrance oils either. Genuinely fragrance-free.
Skin moisture +86.24%, radiance +32.33%	Manufacturer testing after a single use. Treat as marketing.

We have not reproduced MEDICUBE’s clinical-result imagery for the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream on this page, for the same reason we leave it off every product page in this store: instrument percentages with no published methodology are not something you can verify.

What to Expect, and When

Day one: skin feels plumper and more comfortable, and stays that way through the day. That is the humectant stack and it is genuine.
Weeks 2–4: dehydration lines look softer. Makeup sits better. Redness may settle slightly — that is the niacinamide.
Weeks 8–12: the realistic window for niacinamide’s effect on tone and barrier function.
Not at all: deep wrinkles, established pigmentation, or acne. This is a moisturiser.

Capsule Cream vs Jelly Cream vs Capsule Cream

MEDICUBE makes several products that look like the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream on a shelf. The short version:

Hyaluronic Capsule Cream	TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream	Collagen Jelly Cream
Built for	Hydration and calm	Uneven tone and marks	Firmness and glow
Fragrance oils	None	Lemongrass and anise	Check the label
Format	Gel plus capsules	Gel plus capsules	Single-phase jelly
Size	55g	55g	50ml and 110ml

If your skin is reactive, the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream is the one to start with. If tone is your concern and your skin tolerates essential oils, the TXA version targets that directly.

Using a Jar Product in This Climate

Use the spatula every single time. A wide-mouth jar in Dhaka humidity, opened twice a day for two months, is the format most vulnerable to contamination in your whole routine.

Keep it out of the heat. The capsules are suspended in a gel matrix. A jar left in the sun or a hot car softens them and they start mixing on their own. A bedroom drawer beats a bathroom shelf here.

Adjust the ratio by season. Gel-heavy from April to September, capsule-heavy in winter or in a heavily air-conditioned bedroom. This is the whole point of the format and most people never use it.

Common Mistakes

Not mixing properly. If you can still see blue, keep going. Unmixed capsule leaves a patchy finish.
Using the same ratio all year. The format exists so you do not have to.
Fingers in the jar. Use the spatula.
Buying it for the hyaluronic acid. Buy it for the niacinamide at position two.
Expecting barrier repair. Ceramide NP is 42nd of 43.
Layering it under a heavy occlusive on oily skin. Run it gel-heavy instead.

Texture and Feel

In the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream the gel is clear and slippy; the capsules are firm blue spheres that crush easily. Mixed, the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream becomes a light blue-tinged cream that absorbs in about thirty seconds with a soft, non-tacky finish.

There is no scent at all and no cooling or tingling — nothing in the formula would cause either. It layers cleanly under sunscreen and makeup once absorbed.

Warnings and Precautions

For external use only. Avoid the eye area. Discontinue if irritation occurs. Patch test on the inner forearm for two days before first facial use.

Niacinamide at the second position is a high dose for anyone who has reacted to it before — flushing or stinging with niacinamide is uncommon but real. If that is you, the MEDICUBE Hyaluronic Capsule Cream is not the product to test your tolerance with.

What MEDICUBE Does Not Publish

No percentage for the niacinamide or the hyaluronic acid. No country of manufacture on the official product page. No methodology behind the 120-hour hydration figure or the single-use percentages. We print what is published and name the gaps rather than filling them.

A Note on These Photographs

MEDICUBE publishes this product’s images at 1080 pixels square rather than the 1200 we use as a house standard. We have used them at that native size rather than enlarging them — an upscaled image is a softer image, and we would rather show you a smaller sharp one.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much hyaluronic acid is in it?

Not published. Sodium hyaluronate sits 36th of 43 ingredients.

Is it really fragrance-free?

Yes. No parfum and no essential oils anywhere in the list — unlike the TXA capsule cream from the same line.

Do I have to mix it?

Yes. Crush the capsules into the gel until the blue disappears.

Can oily skin use it?

Yes — use two scoops of gel to one of capsule, which is MEDICUBE’s own guidance.

Can I use it with a retinol?

Yes, and it is a sensible pairing. Retinol first, this over the top.

Is it enough on its own in winter?

Run it capsule-heavy. If skin still feels tight, layer something richer over it.

How long does 55g last?

Twice daily on face and neck, roughly two to three months.

Is it safe in pregnancy?

There is no retinoid and no salicylic acid in it. Check with your doctor about anything you are unsure of.
