The MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream is a two-phase 55g cream: a red gel base and a chamber of red capsules holding tranexamic acid, which you mix yourself on the back of your hand before applying. The ratio is yours to set — more gel for a lighter feel, more capsule for richness.

Before anything else, the numbers on the box. Niacinamide is declared at 50,000 ppm, which is 5%, and it sits third of sixty-three ingredients. The “99%” printed alongside the TXA is the purity of the tranexamic acid, not its concentration — and MEDICUBE publishes no concentration for it. On the ingredient list, tranexamic acid appears 33rd.

What the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream Is

The MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream is a moisturiser aimed at uneven skin tone and post-blemish marks. MEDICUBE’s stated benefit is that it “improves the appearance of uneven skin tone and after-spot marks while providing lasting hydration for a smoother, clearer, and more radiant-looking complexion”. It is listed as suitable for combination, dry, oily and sensitive skin.

The capsule format is the selling point and it is not purely theatre. Tranexamic acid and the antioxidants sit in the capsules rather than dissolved through the gel, which keeps them separated from water until the moment you crush them. Whether that meaningfully improves stability over the life of the jar is something MEDICUBE has not published data on, and we are not going to claim it does.

Full Official Ingredient List

The MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream contains sixty-three ingredients, exactly as MEDICUBE publishes them, in order:

Water, glycerin, niacinamide (50,000 ppm), methylpropanediol, propanediol, 1,2-hexanediol, dipropylene glycol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, glyceryl glucoside, butylene glycol, arginine, ethylhexyl palmitate, carbomer, cetearyl alcohol, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, C12-14 alketh-12, ammonium acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP copolymer, simethicone, ethylhexylglycerin, melia azadirachta flower extract, melia azadirachta leaf extract, adenosine, polyacrylate-13, disodium EDTA, cyanocobalamin, triethyl citrate, betaine, polyisobutene, glyceryl stearate, hydrolyzed sclerotium gum.

Continuing from the 33rd position: tranexamic acid, abelmoschus esculentus (okra) fruit extract, panthenol, coccinia indica fruit extract, corallina officinalis extract, polysorbate 20, sorbitan isostearate, glutathione, fragaria vesca (strawberry) fruit extract, castanea crenata (chestnut) shell extract, citrus junos peel extract, betula platyphylla japonica bark/leaf extract, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, bisabolol, ferulic acid, cymbopogon citratus leaf oil, illicium verum (anise) fruit/seed oil, octyldodecanol, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid, sodium hyaluronate, alpha-arbutin, hydrogenated lecithin, ceramide NP, hydroxypropyltrimonium hyaluronate, caprylyl glycol, sodium acetylated hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate, potassium hyaluronate.

Reading That List Honestly

Niacinamide is the active that is actually working

In the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream niacinamide holds third position, declared at 50,000 ppm. That is 5%, the concentration most of the evidence for niacinamide on tone and barrier function sits at. It is the strongest, best-documented thing in the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream, and it is the reason the product performs.

The tranexamic acid the product is named after sits 33rd

This is the finding no other MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream listing publishes. Tranexamic acid appears at position 33 of 63, after the preservatives and thickeners, with no percentage declared anywhere. MEDICUBE has told you its purity — 99% — and stayed silent on how much of it is in the jar.

Purity and concentration are different things. A 99% pure ingredient at 0.5% concentration is still 0.5%. Anyone reading “99%” on the front of the box as a strength figure has misread it, and the packaging does nothing to prevent that.

None of this means the TXA does nothing. Tranexamic acid has real evidence behind it for pigmentation, and even low concentrations contribute. It means you should buy the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream for its 5% niacinamide and treat the tranexamic acid as a supporting act.

Two essential oils you should know about

The MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream contains cymbopogon citratus (lemongrass) leaf oil at 48 and illicium verum (anise) fruit/seed oil at 49. Both are aromatic plant oils and both are recognised contact sensitisers in a minority of people. The product is not marketed as fragranced, but these are why it has a scent.

If you have reactive skin or a history of reacting to essential oils, this matters more than anything else on this page. Patch test.

The brightening actives are all near the bottom

Glutathione at 40, ferulic acid at 47, 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid at 52, alpha-arbutin at 54. Every one of them sits below the essential oils and near the end of a sixty-three-ingredient list, which places them at trace level. They are on the box; they are not doing the heavy lifting.

A genuinely deep hyaluronic acid complex

Seven different hyaluronic acid derivatives appear in the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream in the last fifteen positions — hydrolyzed, sodium, acetylated, crosspolymer, potassium and more. Individually each is trace. Collectively they are a real multi-weight humectant system, and this is one case where a cluster of low-position ingredients does add up.

Ceramide NP at 56

Present, trace. Do not buy the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream expecting barrier repair from ceramides — a dedicated ceramide cream will do far more.

Key ingredients in the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream

How to Use It

MEDICUBE’s official directions: “Mix the red TXA capsule and red gel in a suitable ratio based on your skin type. For a lighter feel, increase the ratio of the gel, while for more hydration and elasticity, increase the ratio of the capsule. Apply the mixture morning and evening to face and neck, after serum.”

MEDICUBE’s own ratio guidance by skin type:

Skin type	Gel	Capsule
Oily	1 scoop	Half a scoop
Dry	1 scoop	1 scoop
Combination	Gel on the oily areas	Capsule on the dry areas

Mix on the back of your hand. Crush the capsules into the gel until the red disappears and the texture is uniform.
After serum, before sunscreen. It is the moisturiser step.
Face and neck. MEDICUBE explicitly includes the neck.
Morning and evening. Suitable for twice-daily use.
Start once daily if your skin is reactive. Two essential oils and 5% niacinamide is a lot for a first-time user.

Why Two Phases at All?

Capsule creams are everywhere in Korean skincare now and it is fair to ask whether the format does anything. Two arguments hold up and one does not.

It holds up on separation. Ingredients that degrade in water — ascorbic acid derivatives, some antioxidants — last longer sitting in a lipid capsule than dissolved through a gel. The MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream does keep several oxidation-prone ingredients out of the water phase until you crush them.

It holds up on customisation. This is the real benefit and the one people undervalue. A single jar that can be a light gel in July and a rich cream in December is worth more in Bangladesh than in almost any temperate market, because our seasonal swing in what skin can tolerate is enormous.

It does not hold up as a delivery claim. Crushed capsules do not push ingredients deeper into skin than a well-formulated cream would. If a listing tells you the capsules in the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream deliver actives to a deeper layer, that is marketing without published evidence behind it.

What 99% purity tranexamic acid means in the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream

Tranexamic Acid: What It Actually Does

Worth explaining properly, because it is the ingredient the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream is named after and most listings say nothing beyond the name.

Tranexamic acid started as a medication for heavy bleeding. Dermatologists noticed patients taking it developed lighter melasma, and topical formulations followed. It works differently from most brighteners: rather than inhibiting the pigment enzyme directly, it interrupts the signalling between skin cells and pigment cells that drives overproduction in the first place.

The evidence base is real but it sits mostly at concentrations of 2–5% in leave-on products, and often in combination with other agents. Since MEDICUBE does not publish the concentration in the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream, we cannot tell you whether it reaches that range. Its position at 33rd of 63 suggests it does not.

What that means practically: this is a niacinamide cream with tranexamic acid support, not a tranexamic acid treatment. Priced and judged that way, it is good value.

Where It Fits in a Routine

Morning

Cleanse, toner, serum, then the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream, then sunscreen. The sunscreen is the step that determines whether any of the tone work survives.

Evening

Cleanse, treatment serum or retinol on its nights, then the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream as the sealing step. It layers cleanly over most serums without pilling once fully mixed.

What not to combine

Do not layer it under or over a high-strength vitamin C in the same application. Not because the pairing is dangerous — that myth has been overturned — but because you gain nothing and the essential oils here make an extra active less worth the irritation risk.

Value and How Long It Lasts

Fifty-five grams of the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream used twice daily on face and neck runs roughly two to three months. Against Korean capsule creams of comparable formulation sold in Bangladesh, the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream sits mid-range, and it undercuts most Western 5% niacinamide moisturisers.

Where the value is real: you are getting a declared 5% niacinamide, a genuine multi-weight hyaluronic complex, and an adjustable texture in one jar. Where it is weaker: the brightening line-up on the front of the box — glutathione, arbutin, vitamin C derivative — is all trace, and you should not pay a premium for those names.

Who It Is For

Post-acne marks and uneven tone. The stated target, and where 5% niacinamide genuinely earns its place.
People who want niacinamide in a moisturiser step. No separate serum needed if this is your only tone product.
Anyone who likes adjusting texture by season. The gel-heavy mix suits a Dhaka summer; the capsule-heavy mix suits winter. One jar, two textures.
Combination skin. The MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream is one of very few products that lets you use two different finishes on one face.

Who should look elsewhere: anyone with a known essential-oil sensitivity, because of the lemongrass and anise oils. Anyone who already uses a 10% niacinamide serum — this adds nothing on top. And anyone buying it specifically for tranexamic acid strength, since the concentration is not published.

What MEDICUBE Claims, and What We Can Verify

MEDICUBE publishes several test figures for the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream. We are printing them as the brand’s claims rather than as findings, because we have no way to check the methodology behind them.

Claim	Our note
Niacinamide 50,000 ppm (5%)	Verifiable — declared in the ingredient list itself. The strongest claim on the box.
99% purity tranexamic acid	A purity figure, not a concentration. Concentration is not published.
Non-comedogenic tested	Manufacturer testing. Reasonable to accept for a cream at this price.
Low irritation 0.00% in human application testing	Manufacturer testing. Note the two essential oils in the list regardless.
+46% radiance, +41% hydration after single use	Manufacturer instrument testing, single use. Treat as marketing, not as a result you should expect.

We have deliberately not reproduced MEDICUBE’s before-and-after imagery for the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream on this page. Before-and-after photographs are almost impossible to verify and easy to influence with lighting, and we would rather show you the ingredient list.

Capsule to gel ratio guide by skin type for the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream

What to Expect, and When

Day one: skin looks dewier and feels cushioned. That is hydration and the slight sheen the gel leaves — pleasant, and not the same as tone change.
Weeks 2–4: texture smooths. Redness from healing spots may settle a little, which is niacinamide doing its job.
Weeks 8–12: the realistic window for visible change in post-acne marks. Niacinamide is slow.
Not at all: deep melasma, sun damage of long standing, or anything structural. Those need a dermatologist.

If you are using the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream for marks, daily sunscreen matters more than the cream does. Post-inflammatory pigmentation on South Asian skin darkens with every hour of unprotected UV, and no topical will outrun that.

Using a Capsule Cream in Bangladeshi Weather

Adjust the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream ratio by season, not by instruction. This is the practical advantage of the format. In peak summer humidity, use mostly gel — the capsule-heavy mix will feel greasy by midday. In winter or heavy air conditioning, add more capsule.

Store it out of the heat. The capsules are held in a gel matrix and a jar left in direct sun or a hot car will soften them and start the mixing process for you. A bedroom drawer is better than a bathroom shelf here.

Use the spatula, not your fingers. A wide-mouth jar in a humid climate is a contamination risk, and this is a jar you will have open for two to three months.

Jar Format: the Honest Downside

The capsule design requires an open jar, and an open jar has real drawbacks that airless packaging does not.

Every use exposes the whole product to air and, if you use fingers, to whatever is on them. For a formula containing ascorbic acid derivatives and ferulic acid — both oxidation-prone — that is not ideal, though at their trace positions in the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream there is not much to oxidise.

MEDICUBE includes a spatula. Use it every time, keep the inner lid in place, and close it properly. The format is a genuine trade-off for the capsule concept rather than a design failure, but it is a trade-off and you should know about it.

How It Compares to the TXA Serum

MEDICUBE sells a TXA Niacinamide Serum alongside this cream and people buy both without knowing why.

TXA Capsule Cream	TXA Niacinamide Serum
Niacinamide	5%, declared	15%, declared
Step	Moisturiser	Serum, before moisturiser
Texture	Adjustable gel-cream	Fluid serum
Best for	One-product tone care with hydration	Stronger niacinamide dose

If you want the highest niacinamide dose, the serum is three times the strength. If you want one product doing tone and moisture together, the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream is the simpler routine. Using both is fine and not necessary for most people.

Warnings and Precautions

For external use only. Avoid the eye area. Discontinue if irritation occurs.

Patch test before first use. We say this on every page and mean it more here: the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream contains two essential oils and 5% niacinamide, and that combination is more likely to provoke a reaction than a plain moisturiser. Two nights on the inner forearm.

Do not use it on broken or actively irritated skin. If you are on a prescription topical for pigmentation, ask your doctor before adding this.

What MEDICUBE Does Not Publish

The tranexamic acid concentration. The country of manufacture, which appears nowhere on the official product page. And any methodology behind the radiance and hydration percentages. We will not print figures we cannot trace, and we will not invent a concentration that the brand itself has chosen not to declare.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the tranexamic acid 99% concentration?

No. 99% is the purity of the raw ingredient. Its concentration in the MEDICUBE TXA Niacinamide Capsule Cream is not published, and it sits 33rd of 63 ingredients.

How much niacinamide is in it?

5%, declared as 50,000 ppm in the ingredient list itself.

Does it have fragrance?

No added fragrance is listed, but lemongrass and anise essential oils are present and give it a scent.

Do I have to mix it?

Yes, that is the format. Crush the capsules into the gel on the back of your hand.

Can I use it with a retinol?

Yes. Niacinamide and retinol pair well. Retinol first, this over the top.

Will it fade dark spots?

It can help with post-acne marks over two to three months. It will not clear melasma or old sun damage.

How long does 55g last?

Twice daily on face and neck, roughly two to three months.

Is it good for oily skin?

Yes — use the gel-heavy ratio. That is what the mixing system is for.
