The Medicube Azelaic Acid 16 Calming Serum is a lightweight, fast-absorbing 30ml serum from Medicube’s azelaic acid line. Medicube describes each pump as “one exosome shot” and says it combines azelaic acid with 5% niacinamide to calm the look of redness caused by dryness and to smooth texture after breakouts.

What the ingredient list really shows

• Azelaic acid is the 2nd ingredient, right after water. That is a genuinely high position, and it means this serum is built around azelaic acid rather than just mentioning it.
• Niacinamide is 9th. Medicube states 5%, a level widely used for oil control and a more even-looking tone.
• Alcohol denat. is 7th. It helps the serum feel light and absorb fast, but it can sting very dry or sensitive skin. If that is you, start every other night.
• Soothing support: neem leaf and flower, holy basil, turmeric, aloe, centella, allantoin and panthenol.
• Barrier support near the end: squalane, shea butter, olive oil and ceramide NP.

How to use
